Hi, I’m Lauren, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #159519). I work with children, teens, and their families as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up.
For the past six years, I’ve supported young people in building confidence, understanding themselves, and moving through challenges big and small. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Westmont College and my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara.
I create a warm, supportive space where kids, teens, and young adults feel safe to be themselves. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, with a focus on building practical skills to manage emotions, cope with stress, and feel more confident in daily life.
With younger children, I use play therapy, games, and creative activities to help them express feelings and build emotional awareness. With teens, I take a more conversational approach, helping them develop insight, problem-solving skills, and a stronger sense of self.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have additional training in EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT, which helps me support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, and other overwhelming experiences.
I believe growth happens through connection, curiosity, and trust, and my goal is to help young people feel more confident, understood, and hopeful about what’s ahead.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me near the ocean—sailing, swimming, or enjoying the outdoors.
I would love to support you and your family.
